I was really excited to go to Newport, since it was my first time, but I was very disappointed with the reception at first glance at the hotel, first because I was greeted by an woman named BJ, with whom she felt a certain rejection towards Hispanics. . she, she was very curt and unfriendly, unlike with other people who arrived at the hotel who were Americans and elderly. On the other hand, the hotel was left in the past, very old and deteriorated, the breakfast very poor, is really not worth going to that hotel, I hope next time I find a better place to stay.

BJ made our check in and check out experiences a dream, she was so kind. Every employee we interacted with was so nice and willing to offer recommendations for things to do and places to eat in the area and asked about our day anytime we came back to the property for the evening. Our room was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. The coffee, tea, and hot chocolate were available 24 hours a day which was just an added plus! Will definitely stay here again for future visits to Newport!

We have stayed here many times over the years. WE like the location, the size of the rooms and the staff is great. The breakfast features fresh fruit, coffee, juice cereal, breakfast sandwiches and sweet breads. If you like the charm of an old Inn and don't want to break the bank, this is the place. We do not have kitchen facilities to cook anything fresh. We are affiliated with our restaurant Tickets, about a 1mile & 1/2 from hotel . Glad to hear you enjoyed your stay with us in spite of this.

Good location a few minutes drive from Newport center. Fantastic staff on site, room very clean and great size. Free parking on property with option of electric chargers (4). Really nice, will come back for sure.

This is a very nice little place. It could use some updating and a few upgrades. Breakfast is definitely light but they had a vegan option which I thought was very thoughtful! (Continental breakfast can be tough for the plant-based…) And the staff is so great! They were really friendly, efficient and helpful. Easy to get in and out of Newport and to the cliff walk by car.

B&B perfect for girls trip
Check in was a breeze and the woman at the counter was extremely nice! Came here with 3 friends so 4 of us total and our room with 2 king beds was perfect! Even had a cute sitting area with a fireplace and couch so plenty of room for our suitcases. Bathroom was basic for how cute the rest of the room was with nice furniture and decor. Minimal breakfast in the morning, I was pleasantly surprised with the choices.
