"Alesund, Norway is absolutely picturesque! A Norwegian fairy tale of endless Fjords, majestic mountains and beauty beyond words. Our planned one night turned into three because we loved it so much! The scenic route from Geiranger to Trollstigen to see waterfalls, canyons, trolls & crystal clear glacier lakes is well worth the time—it’s a must to fully appreciate the beauty of the Fjords. Winding down at night with Sauna & Cold Plunging is just the Nordic way. Our stay at the Quality Hotel Waterfront Alesund was perfect. Great location, clean rooms, hospitable staff, excellent free full breakfast and I’ll say it again, every employee was SO nice, SO accommodating and that is not always the case these days. "

From the lobby to my room, everything was spotless and well-maintained, creating a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. What truly stood out, however, was the incredible helpfulness of the staff. Every member of the team I encountered was friendly, attentive, and eager to assist with any request. Their warm hospitality made my stay even more enjoyable. I highly recommend the Thon Hotel Moldefjord to anyone visiting Molde!"

"Booked a room with a fjord view and we weren't disappointed - it was great just looking out the window. We also appreciated the extra space, with sofa and arm chairs to sit on. Bed very comfortable. We also had an excellent meal in their restaurant one evening, trying the local delicacy klippfisk. Molde is a very pleasant place to spend a couple of days and a good base for outings to e.g. Trollstigen and the Atlantic Ocean Road. It was our favourite stay in Norway so far this time, but there were a few minor downsides. It could do with a few more hooks for towels in the bathroom and easy to reach electrical sockets by the bedside (leading to the additional comment - please vacuum under the bed more often!). Also the staff, whilst not unhelpful or unpleasant, were not as friendly as other places we've stayed."
