"Staff was great! Great price. Property has been remodeled recently. Large clean swimming pool. Breakfast was limited. I did notice a lot of trash around the parking lot and in the grass some. Otherwise highly recommend"

"We wanted three days, but a family reunion had booked there too. Check in was seamless on the first day, to get a private code for the front door. Even if it rained off and on, it's beautiful to look at Hamilton Lake. They provide real grills too and there is wood for the fire pit. The kitchenette is small but everything is provided to cook and I was able to make breakfast. We had a larger coffee pot, which was great and they provide some coffee items, but I'd bring extra creamer and sugar. In venturing out the first day, there are lots of places to eat out nearby. A super Walmart is just down the way too. Hubby was able to fish and it was peaceful and wonderful. The next day, we went downtown for some excursions, and while gone, the people for the reunion checked in. Our room had been double book, the code changed, and the man realized the room was already occupied upon entering. Upon our return, he drunkenly told us the mishap in the parking lot. Nothing was missing and he had to be the one to tell us the new code. After that, we didn't feel secure. Unfortunately, the didn't follow the rules, partied late, with loud music and smoking. On checkout, we told the office what had occurred. Other than this mishap, we loved the entire place. We would book again, but hope rules are enforced for all and provided with a cell number to call at night if something like this occurred. And if double booking happens, they would call right away to let one know."

"The room was very clean and updated. The waffles were very good on the breakfast and the staff kept that area clean and replenished. We enjoyed our stay and will be back again!"

"The rooms were a good size, but the air was turned to 76 degrees and it was super hot outside and so it took a long time to cool the room off. As we were preparing to check out we had to deal with an infestation of tiny black ants that were on one of the beds, the nightstand and the tv armoire. We didn’t use the amenities while staying. The staff was very kind, considerate, friendly, helpful, and attentive. The breakfast was just ok. For the price point of the hotel it was decent overall. I would give the staff an 8/10 and the hotel itself a 5/10 mostly because of the stained carpets, chipped wall paint, musty smell in the air in the room and ant problems."
