Best words to describe the hotel are tired and shabby. So many things need attention, just needs re-investment to bring it up to standard. The staff were good, esoecualky the waiter who served us drinks and dinner.

The Manoir is a beautiful traditional house built in the late 19th century. The bedroom was as described although the wooden beam was a challenge! The food in the dining room was very good for the price. However, the swimming pool and the spa were unavailable during much of our sta. The grounds definitely need some tlc. If they were better looked after my rating would be "excellent".

Have stayed at this hotel many times on route to and from Spain. Very friendly service, great hotel to bring our dog who is always made extremely welcome and great safe grounds. Dining and bar very good and always reasonably priced.

We booked for two nights and, as it was extremely hot, the hotel was chosen as it had a swimming pool. When we arrived we were told that this had been shut down by environmental health the day before we arrived but that the hotel did not have our telephone number to advise us. If we had known there was no pool available we would have cancelled and booked an alternative hotel. Whilst we enjoyed the hotel overall we were disappointed by; not having the pool available, having to pack up and change hotels, travelling to the new hotel, and not having the use of their facilities until the new hotel check in was available. I have mostly been happy with Expedia however this incident has disappointed me.

Fantastic Manor House converted to a great boutique hotel. I especially liked the dinner, wine and service. Breakfast was pretty extensive, with plenty for every taste. The bar has a terrace overlooking enormous ancient cedar trees and a golf course. Pretty damn good hotel.

Staff were lovely and couldn’t do enough for us. The room interior was a little battered and the bed was very hard but otherwise fine. It’s a beautiful building in beautiful grounds. The pool was also nice but opens late and closes early.

Beautiful hotel with tranquil surroundings. The staff were excellent at speaking English and they even had an English menu. The food was excellent, I especially loved the chicken ceasar salad. We didn't use the pool but it looked great and they had lots of games and a ping pong table to keep the kiddies entertained. Fantastic check out experience, the receptionist took the time to go through our bill and explain everything. Great room and the matress was so comfy. What I love about France is they use proper super king beds so there's no line in the middle like the UK. Would highly recommend this hotel!

A great hotel run by superb staff. Super friendly and helpful we would definitely stay here again. A spacious area for parking is directly in front of the building with easy access to reception. It’s very dog friendly - some hotel’s accommodate dogs but are barely tolerant this isn’t one of them. There are tracks to walk from the door in beautiful countryside. The room is clean and spacious, bed is comfortable and amenities similar to most hotels in this category. Breakfast was a buffet style with lots of breads, meat, cheese and some fruit. All in all a great stay made more memorable by the fabulous staff. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it!

Really beautiful hotel, nice room, spa and pool facilities on excellent standard of golf course. We however didn't have a car and it was an 20 min walk to an infrequent train station and buses only run close part of the day so you really need a car to easily stay here or be prepared to pay a bit for taxis. If going for golf you definitely need to bring your own clubs, hire clubs at golf club were really poor quality, which was a shame as the course was really good. I'd go back but with a car and my own clubs.

Very quiet and relaxed environment. Close to golf facilities. Nice friendly personell. Our room in the Verger was spaceous for 4 people. Max 6p. The pool is heated although not to 27 degrees. Still we nice to enjoy after a long day travelling. The breakfast was very good with several types of bread, grains, fruits, pancakes, scrambled eggs bacon and more. We stayed one night while travelling south and will return next time when we are in the neighbourhood.
