The Foundry Hotel Asheville, Curio Collection by Hilton
10/10 Excellent
"The Foundry Hotel exceeded my expectations. The staff was friendly, the rooms were spotless and stylish, and the location was perfect for exploring Asheville. The hotel’s historic character gives it a unique atmosphere you won’t find anywhere else. Highly recommend."

"My family enjoyed the space of having the three bedrooms and living room & kitchen area. But a few things really distracted from the stay.
We started to make coffee in the coffee pot, which we appreciated, but it was dirty. When reported to staff, an employee was sent to our suite with a sponge filled with soap.? She walked in without knocking even tho a Do not Disturb sign was on the door. This employee was very unhappy that she was sent to clean a coffee pot which was not requested. By then we had already had our morning coffee after we cleaned the pot. It didn’t make any sense.
The fan that was provided in one of the closets in the bedrooms did not work and was filthy with dust. (One family member stays warm all the time.)
The temperatures were cold and there were no extra blankets in the closets. We went to staff to get another blanket and was given one stained very badly all over the blanket. It looked like something else other than red fruit juice.
Overall the suite was a good place for us and very comfortable and clean."
"The room was well decorated, simple and elegant. They did a good job with the Italian style. The bed was somewhat firm but comfortable. The gas fireplace on the courtyard facing the waterfall was perfect. The kitchen has a large fridge and a couple of burners but it is not well equipped as advertised. The sink we had was dysfunctional as the sink spout was really a bar spout and did not come out far enough to effectively fill a pot with water while it sits in the sink. It seems a minor annoyance until you try to rinse the pot you just washed. The granite walls in the bathroom were done masterfully. Clearly the room is under renovation as there were a few blisters on the bath ceiling. The hot water is hot! Amazing, and soft water at that. The employees were friendly and helpful. We will certainly stay there again."
"Great location if you want to walk to Asheville Yards and other places. The hotel itself is run down and the room we stayed in had a huge window floor to ceiling but it was placed so that anyone walking to get to their room it’s fully visible inside unless you pull the blackout curtains. When we got in from the show cops were there? The parking lot was extremely crowded and was tight for any car to get in or out of the space. The best part was the staff at the desk kind and friendly."
