The County Claire is the hotel we stay at whenever we are in MKE at our main office. The staff is great, nice location and beats the cost of the big hotel chains. Highly recommend!

Couples Getaway
We adore the County Clare! It was our 4th visit to the hotel. It was our destination. We enjoyed dinner and drinks in the pub. We enjoyed the hot tub in our room and a lovely breakfast in the morning in the pub room. It could not have been more perfect. We were celebrating our anniversary and my birthday.

We loved the restaurant, great food! The Rueben and Pot Roast were both delicious. The Inn had a B&B feel to it. It was quaint and perfect for a one night stay. The front desk staff was friendly. Our room was nice. Overall the Inn could use a little updating but we loved the Irish flair and quaint atmosphere.

Love the Irish theme. Staff was so accommodating with check in due to my extreme travel difficulties. The proximity to my daughter and fairly close to Brady Street with all the restaurants and cafes.

The fact that the front desk is not staffed 24/7 could be an issue, we had noisy arguing neighbors all night. Otherwise we loved everything about it.

A trip to Ireland without leaving Wisconsin
County Claire Irish Hotel & Pub is a perfect getaway for a weekend. We checked in on a Friday afternoon and the free parking behind the hotel is a blessing. Dinner in the pub was phenomenal! My fried Walleye was the best fish fry I've ever had and my wife's Shepard's Pie was to die for. We split a bread pudding we took up to our room. The free breakfast was very nice and the person cooking omelets is a professional as our omelets were simply outstanding! Over all this was a great experience.

Overall, Nice Place
The staff was great! Helpful and friendly. We loved the bar and its entertainment. The group that met in the corner, playing various instruments was such a treat! The entire property was very clean. There are a few things that need updated, replaced. For example, our vanity sink was cracked and stained. I do see that new windows will be installed soon. That will help greatly. Overall, and especially for the price, it was a great value and stay.

Interesting little hotel, lots of atmosphere. Be sure to note times staff is on the premises. And get to breakfast early for full array.
