We had an amazing time here, everyone was SO friendly. The onsen was lovely and the rooms had everything we needed.
The staff were really lovely and took time to show us the best bits about town, they made sure we saw the fireflies and the mechanical clock, plus great places to eat.
Friendly not flashy.
Nice room (non-smoking and ground floor recommended), facilities a bit dated, friendly staff, bicycles to rent for free, breakfast nice (Japanese style) but fairly expensive. Bakery and 7-11 in walking distance
