"Although staff were friendly, we were disappointed by their claim that the only room non smoking room they had was on a low floor overlooking the a/c equipment. No hand towels in the bathroom."

"Our complete experience was terrific! All areas of the hotel were spotless. The rooms were very nice and comfortable with the TV which we didn’t watch much was very good and the wifi was stable. The breakfast was fantastic with a great assortment enough to please everyone no matter what they preferred for breakfast. The staff kept the serving plates full and were always there to help and even get for you anything you wanted. I can’t say enough about how well the staff at breakfast and as well anywhere else in the hotel were fantastic. The people cleaning the room was great and always checked with us to make sure everything is the room was ok and if we needed anything. All was fantastic. Thank you very much for a great visit. "

"Excellent Value Stay in a Convenient Yet Cozy Location I had a very pleasant stay at S Loft Hotel in Manado. The hotel is located in a convenient downtown area, making it easy to access restaurants, shops, and transportation. At the same time, it sits along a relatively less congested road, so the overall atmosphere inside the property feels calm and cozy despite being in the city center. Considering the price point, this hotel offers outstanding value. While you shouldn’t expect luxury-level furnishings or perfect in-room fixtures at this rate, I would confidently say that it is one of the best options available within the ~$20 range. The room was comfortable enough for a short stay and thoughtfully designed to maximize limited space. One interesting feature is the convertible desk, which is clever for space efficiency. However, it may not be suitable for placing heavy items, so that’s something to keep in mind if you’re traveling with substantial equipment or luggage. A minor drawback is that some motorcycle noise can still be heard at night. It wasn’t overwhelming, but light sleepers may want to prepare accordingly. Overall, S Loft Hotel is an excellent budget-friendly choice in Manado, offering a cozy environment, strong location advantages, and great value for money. I would consider staying here again for a short visit."

"The breakfast was just okay, not much variety, and only one protein choice, usually fried. The customer service wasn't great either, and I didn't feel like I got my money's worth. On my last day, they suddenly gave me a menu and said I could pick something if I didn't like what was available. I was there for four days and never got that option before. I guess it was their last attempt to fix things, but it was too little, too late."

"The room was very nice. Seems to have been recently cleaned or repainted. Breakfast could have been better- plates and glasses ran out quickly and while they were trying to refresh them during service, they were only bringing out 5 or 6 at a time. Not enough to fulfill the needs of all those people. "

"I enjoyed my stay at the Best Western Lagoon Hotel. The check-in was easy. I asked for a room on a high floor and I got it. I thought the staff at the hotel was attentive. There are two downsides to the hotel. There are only two elevators for a 12-story hotel. The elevators are slow. There are no clear signs pointing to the stairs. The other thing lacking is good lighting in the rooms. The room is dim. The bathroom mirror lighting is dim and very hard to get a good shave. Yes, I would stay at this hotel again. The views from the room are worth it."
