"Had a lovely stay! Everything was very clean and the bunk beds in the shared room did not squeak when people moved about. The staff were super helpful and friendly and the amenities worked well (good shower pressure, well organised kitchen space). Its in a good central location, and having the option to pay for parking (where surveillance cameras operated) was appreciated, even though there is plenty of parking available on side streets. My only hang-up was that the drying room (for ski gear) did not actually dry my gear very well - but the dorm rooms were dry and warm so things dried better hanging over the rail of the bunks. Thanks :)"

"We had an emergency exit from Franz Josef due to potential slips coming into Wanaka - we managed to get a room here at last minute - we managed to order dinner and go drop bags off and dinner was ready when we got back. Staff, very obliging. Unfortunately we didn’t get any toiletries except a small bar of soap so had to make do for our showers. The room was really nice - though there was lot of neighbour noise - but the facilities were great - lots of parking and on the road that leads to Cardrona"

"Expensive but unique. Great accommodation and nearby F&B options, including 10 minutes drive to Wanaka. Great for regional travel and right on the lake. May be too expensive for many for more than one night but worth the stretch for something very different. Unfortunately due to traffic issues we had to leave before breakfast but others highly rate that."
