Hyatt Place St. Paul/Downtown
Cool rooms with the high ceiling and tall window. Pool was smallish and cool, temp wise. No hot tub. But nice rooms. Valet was short staffed so took a bit to get vehicle since waiting on one employee to get back

DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel St. Paul Downtown
Parking was as advertised. But the amenities and breakfast was terrible. No lobby coffee (probably only hotel in existence) nor vending machines for basic water. Instead they force you to get coffee from the “breakfast” area for $4 each. And a small bottle of water is $6 from the little lobby market. ...
