"think it is good but a bit overpriced, given that it is not on the beach, has no garden or view. Staff is nice, though, and the complimentary dinner at New Year's Eve a very pleasant surprise."
"A great hotel away from the night life of the beach. Friendly staff but not the best hotel.
Cleanliness definitely isn’t a top priority here. I stayed for 3 nights and had the same sheets and 1 small blanket for two people. The water would not work half the time, thankfully they did provide a bucket and ladle. You’re required to give the receptionist the key, which I thought would be for cleaning purposes, thus after the first 2 nights my guest and I learned there would be no cleaning at...
"Room was clean but very basic, no fridge, no kettle….. these 2 items are very essential for people who loves cold or hot drink without the need of getting out of the room. No hot water twice…. First episode was reported and fixed but did not last longer and no hot water again!!!
The bed is very comfortable, but the top sheet or kumot is so thin, not a good one for someone who love to sleep in a cold room.
5 star for the hotel staffs"
"I had 5 good and relaxing days here at Tropicana. An amazing building with pool, outdoor gym. and a restaurant. The breakfast was a little overpriced but okay. The staff was super kind and always smiling and helpful. "
"Hotel.com listing has coffee in common area---- they charged $1.20 for instant. Listing has pool----half full hot tub sized. Listing has full service spa ----none. Listing has wifi---- works 10% of the time. Listing has stovetop and utensils ---- none. This was a room not a condo. They cleaned the room once in 6 days. Listing says 5 minute walk to the pier------- it is very steep hill---- only a serious athlete could do it in 5 minutes."

"Absolutely spectacular! The resort's customer service is top-notch, and the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The food is fantastic, and everyone on the team genuinely cares about your experience. We'll definitely be back!"
"If you're looking for a relaxing and peaceful place to stay at Puerto Galera with accommodating and friendly staff, Badladz is the place to be! They have the amenities to make you feel at home and feel rejuvenated -- board games, pool, beach, food (tastes amazing and their menu has a variety of options), friendly and accommodating staff (shout out to Ate Ella, Ate Jonalyn, Ate Rina), and relaxing spa services by Ate Harmony, Ate Lei, and Ate Joan. Facilities were also well maintained, from restrooms, hallways, to the rooms. We definitely recommend this place! "

10/10 Excellent
"They were very accommodating, free brewed coffee and water, free rides when we asked and a person with disability room that was first rate. The pool was very clean and we'll kept. A wonderful experience."
"There are so many great things about AV Suites. The staff was great! Well trained but not robots. Very friendly and personable. They made us feel very welcome and really seem to take pride in the resort.
First the views are incredible and stunning. Standing on the balcony of our room was amazing.
We stayed for 9 days and the room was big enough for us. We didnt feel cramped up on the 1 day it rained.
There are a few things I wish that I had known before we stayed there. Maybe other reviews mentioned it but I will stress that there are stairs. :) Blessed with stairs. I loved it it was like a daily workout, however, some people may not be so happy about it. Also, I wish I hadnt rented a car. The parking was a bit challenging. The driveway is a little scary to drive up because its super steep. When I go back..and I will go back.. I will just get a driver to the hotel and take Toktok or trikes for my transportation. That is probably the cheapest and easiest solution. I just want to say that the stairs and parking had little effect on our stay, but it is something I think people should know about.
If you are not familiar with the area you should know that Aninuan beach is well within walking distance. Its not obvious, but there is a little entrance just a few hundred feet from AV Suites driveway on the other side of the road. I would recommend going there its great and the water is fairly shallow.
There are some great local places to eat in Puerto Galera and on White Beach."
