The Island Resort at Fort Walton Beach
It was too cold to get in the water but this is a great hotel. It’s directly on the beach has great pools and right next door (walking) to bars and restaurants on the beach. They charge $15 a night for parking. I didn’t see that anywhere.

This hotel is in serious need of updates and a thorough deep cleaning. We booked four rooms for a birthday trip, and the experience was disappointing from the start. Having visited Destin many times we were so pleasantly surprised by the Club Destin property. The location is perfect. The prices are reasonable. The property is very clean. All in all...a great time.
