"Location was close to the airport and far enough away from downtown. All staff no matter what their duties were friendly, helpful, and went out of their way. I paid for an upgraded over water room which was a treat. One of the luxuries of these rooms is the option to jump in the water around your room to snorkel or swim. However, while there was a slightly lower platform there were no ladders to climb back up so swimming was not possible at our room. Room was great with a small glass area on the floor but with no lights under our room we could not see fish. It is a luxury expensive hotel and the restaurant for dinner was pricy but what I would expect. However the brunches were nice but ridiculously overpriced. First world complaints here so still a great hotel."
"The room was nice, spacious enough, with a fan that did the job at keeping you cool. Housekeeping came to clean the rooms every day, the toilet and shower were good and maintained! The staff were lovely and accommodating, very helpful and attentive to any questions we had.
There is a supermarket a short bus ride away or a less than 5 min car drive- a bit too far to walk in the heat though. There isn’t really much around in terms of dining options so we made food our selves.
The view is beautiful as the bungalows look straight out to the sea with a nice breeze blowing through, you can walk a little along the beach and the pool was nice and pretty clean. They have lots of dogs which are cute but did obviously bark some nights and they like to sit on the balconies with you.
We had a lovely stay, super chill and relax enjoying the sun!"
"Overall a nice place to stay with a few caveats. Easy check-in with the keys on the counter and quick response by email. We stayed in Aura where two rooms have AC and one does not - was not a problem for our stay. The third room has a fan. The rooms have plenty of open shelf space for clothes. The deck overlooking the lagoon and private pool were favorites. There was a nice breeze during our stay. Bring bug spray though (as with most places on island).
It would have been nice to have hand towels and wash clothes, not just bath and beach towels. Also, some hooks in the bedroom to hang up towels or clothes. The shower has body wash and shampoo; some shelves for personal washing supplies would be helpful.
There was a lot of roof noise one particular night from what we think were birds collecting seeds from the tree overhead. Our neighbors didn't have the same foilage so this may be specific to our Villa. It bothered some of us more than others, so if you are a light sleeper, the islands of Tahiti in general can be noisy with dogs, roosters and other wildlife.
The WiFi worked well but we had to request the password. This proved difficulty since we had spotty personal service.
There were chocolates left for us at check-in which was a nice welcome.
Thank you for sharing your Villa with us."
"This place is magical. Beautifully landscaped, the decor and layout is inviting and original. The owner, Martine, was incredibly helpful with any needs we had, full of tips on what to do and proud to share her knowledge of the place. It is a tranquil oasis, interrupted only by the clucking of roaming chickens and roosters. Perfect for a relaxing get away in paradise."
"This was one of the best places we have stayed anywhere in the world. Amazing views and staff. Restaurant was 5 star, make the dinner reservation. Perfect 10/10"
