I do not recommend this hotel. Our first room had a malfunctioning air conditioner. After we notified the staff, they moved us to a different room. Unfortunately, this second room smelled so bad that air freshener didn't help.
Communication was a major issue. Despite the hotel's close proximity to Kansai International Airport, I was surprised that the staff struggled significantly to communicate in English. We had to rely entirely on Google Translate for every conversation.
The only real advantage of this hotel is that it is very close to a Premium Outlet. Otherwise, the location is highly inconvenient. The closest train station requires a 15–20 minute walk, making a taxi the only practical way to get there. Fortunately, my family only stayed for one night. I will not choose this hotel again for future airport transit.

Great location. You could get anywhere within 10-20 mins whether by metro, bus, or by feet. Lots of food options nearby. Service was exceptional and very accommodating.

The room we stayed in was very clean and equipped with all the appliances we needed for our short stay. The in-room washer and dryer were especially helpful for washing our clothes after a long, sweaty day under the blazing sun. We were required to put out our garbage and used towels every morning by 11:00 AM, but I did not find this to be an issue at all.
At the reception counter, you can pick up extra amenities like toothbrushes and combs, as well as instant coffee and tea bags. They also provide a water dispenser where you can refill your water bottles, and you can borrow umbrellas from the entrance on rainy days.
The staff at MONday Apart Premium KYOTO Station are friendly, helpful, and speak English very well, which was a pleasant surprise. Location-wise, there is a FamilyMart nearby, and it is within walking distance of several bus stops depending on your destination. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again on a future visit to Kyoto!
