Wifi was only available at the front desk and dining area which actually turned out to be a blessing. This allowed me to be present, enjoy my surroundings, and not be checking my phone every 5 minutes. I really enjoyed this place because it made me feel living life simple. There is a kitchenette, perfect for longer stays. The beach and snorkeling is just a short walk around the corner and free drinking water available.

The property is located near the tourist attraction however inside the resort is quiet and cozy. The price is reasonably affordable. I would definitely recommend this place for to others.

The property is wonderful and the staff is the same. If your desire is to visit this Moalboal you could do right by booking this property. The price for the quality is excellent. And the breakfast is great!!!

Staff were great. Organised activities for us at the last minute. Canyoneering the highlight, with a superb lunch at a locals house. Even whipped up a tinola fish dish. Good breakfast included in price also.

Cottage was very private and comfortable. Staff was very friendly. Pool was great and so was the food. We absolutely loved our stay. Beach was very close went snorkeling and had a driver bring us canyoneering.

I was a bit disappointed - the price does not stand up to the hotel. Overall one of the nicer hotels in Moalboal, but is far away from the ocean, unfortunately.

Stayed here for two weeks. The complex is set in gardens and is very well looked after, the service was excellent. Didn’t eat there apert from breakfast which was good, only downside was the juice which was always sweet, they did have brewed coffee though which is not always the case. The complex is 5 mins from the center of Pangasama Beach so location is good. The pool is a good size and clean. The prices for the minibar in your room are cheaper than some of the bars in town. All in all a very nice place to stay and excellent value

Nice pool. Nice pool area. I did not like location. Unless scuba diving there is nothing to do or see. Staff was not very friendly which is unexpected compared to other Filipino resorts. Room was sparse but clean.

Beyond expectation. Outside the resort you cannot imagine that there's something beautiful inside because the fence is just simple like the usual fence of a household but when we checked-in and went to see our room, WOW awesome place, very serene, plus points that it is indeed cottages and there's balcony in each cabana. The pool, very clean and what's good about their pool is that the height is not centralized it has different levels there's 4ft, 5ft and 6ft which I and my companions enjoyed especially that not all of us know how to swim. The breakfast is free, the foods were cooked very deliciously, our tummies certainly felt delighted. The accessibility, although the area is very remote but good thing is there are many vehicles that were parking at the back of the resort so you can just take a motrcycle if you want to go out and visit other places, aside from transportation, the resort has even direct access to the bay where you can just watch how beautiful the sunset is and in the morning you can witness the beautiful scenery of nature as you'd be able to see small fishes, crabs and the like, Oh! You can even have a little dip in the water if you want. Bottomline, it was a very unforgettable! Everything is delightful and the place is so full of surprises. I get to love nature more because of my stay in Marcosas, thank you for our 1 night only stay, we were very impressed of the total experience. You've made our 4th lover anniversary with our baby and siblings so splendid!

Very comfortable experience. Very nice rooms in independent cottages, with both fan and aircon. Also a working kitchen with stoves and an a small oven. However the toilet with all the brown plastic holders and furniture looks from the 70s or so. Dated and not very good quality. There's no wifi on the rooms, and 3G/4G is rather bad, so...not much internet while in the room. Our very first impression wasn't initially very good, as our room smelled of vomit. We noticed this after laying in the bed a few minutes after checking in. When we mentioned the issue to the reception desk, she casually asked my gf if she just threw up. Other than this, the staff was very polite. However it feels the kitchen is rather understaffed, as any order takes rather long to fulfill. You can expect a good 30 mins for your lunch/dinner. Still, very friendly and helpful.

Marcosas was absolutely wonderful. The staff were very friendly, helpful, attentive and available. Our cottage was modern with a proper king size bed (which was very comfortable), shower was hot with good pressure and the cottage had a nice deck to sit out on with loungers as well as table and chairs. The resort was very secure and safe. The food was delicious and the free breakfast was great- made to order not buffet style. The location of the property is very close to everything and the sea is across the street.

It was quite enjoyable spending the time in Marcosas. Good location, quiet, rooms are spacious with a TV with may different international programs which was cool. And the pool has a slide, big up for that!

Very peaceful!
This was a perfect spot to stay with beautiful gardens and chilled pool area. Lots of options for bars, restaurants within 5 mins. Only 5 mins walk to centre and for snorkelling with the sardines. You’ll see turtles if you swim at the nearest beach entry by hotel. Very peaceful compared with staying in the centre by the bars where there is noise until circa 2am most mornings.

Property is aging a bit. But a nice place to come back to after adventures around town. Food is ok. Staff is friendly enough. Sometimes it seems like they don’t want to be bothered with you. Don’t expect modern rooms. It’s a step up from a cheap hotel.

Stayed 3 nights in the superior cottage with a king size bed. Have your own cottage with a bit dated inner. Room and bedsheets are clean. More mosquito-free than what I have expected. A small but cold enough refrigerator and minibar is of reasonable price. 2 bottles of free drinking water are provided everyday though a water boiler there. Air con is quiet and cold enough. No slippers or toiletries provided so remember to bring your own. Strings hanging outside your cottage for hanging dry our wetsuits is a highlight. Pool looks nice with their staff clearing debris from surface constantly. Hotel staff is nice and willing to help for your transfer and tour booking. One downside is that they didn’t check our identity when we asked for the spare key to our cottage. It’s just so easy to get other’s key. Food from the restaurant is nice. Price is a bit higher comparing to the foodcourt we have tried in city centre. Breakfast have large range to choose from, cereals to rice or even English breakfast, served with banana, juice and coffee/tea. However, do not eat in their restaurant if you are in a hurry. We have had 1.5 hours break for lunch between our dives but it took them an hour to cook 2 courses. We have to pack the meal and save for later. Easy access to seaside and few minutes walk from all restaurants and dive shops. Resort offers Mactan airport pickup at 2900peso one way with 3hrs drive,2800peso(turn) to Oslob with 2hrs drive,drivers are punctual and very helpful.

Stayed here about a week It’s a house for each guest group. Very private If you go to have breakfast, the room is already cleaned and new towels are offered. Swimming pool is quite big compared to other resorts and quite deep to enjoy swimming. And slide is good as well :) Although people are not that friendly, they provide things enough if ask. Food in restaurant is delicious I would love to stay here again if I come back to Moalboal :)

Perfect Getaway
The seaside view cottage was to live for. The private entrance to the beach made it all worth the stay. The only downside was the loud music being played after hours in the closed by bar. Overall, will come back again.

Wonderful Stay in Moalboal
Wonderful and attentive staff. Check in was so easy. Location wonderful. Kitchenette great for my morning coffees and preparing snacks. Air conditioning was good and strong but water pressure was not. Maintenance staff responded immediately and made slight improvement by replacing the shower head.

Very good hotel but...
Hotel staff: -Most of them were friendly, but there were a few occasions in which I got upset by their lack of courtesy. -My boyfriend cut his toes in the pool (three of them and bleeding) and the lady in charge didn't even apologize. She just said "maybe it was the tiles" and gave us something to clean the wounds. -We went to get a massage at 7:15pm. The lady at the massage place looked like we were a bother. She sighed when we gave her the reservation ticket. When we left, she didn't even try to be nice. Plus, the massage wan't even that good, I expected more for 500 pesos. Hotel Facilities, Conditions - Everything looks nice and works well. The only thing is that terrible toe cutting pool! Room Cleanliness & Comfort -Compared to the other hotel I stayed in Davao, this hotel was spotless and smelled clean. We did have an encounter with a mouse, but I didn't mind. We took it out with a dustpan. - The room was very comfortable. It had everything we needed; drinks, AC, clean towels, Cable TV, etc. The location is good, but there are other hotels near by as well. If they were to change their attitude and let go of their pride, I would recommend it to other people.

Great cottages, clean, nice kitchen with fridge and propane stove. Area is dense with trees, vegetation, large pool, indoor outdoor restaurant with free wifi. Adjacent is Abyss Dive Shop just 25 yards away. So convenient if you are a diver. It would be nice if a comfortable chair to relax in room. Really nice porch with table and 2 chairs. We have stayed there both trips to Moalboal (Panagsama Beach)

Surroundings and the cottage were amazing, each room is a separate house with a terrace. You can rent a scooter nearby as well. However there is no beach near. And the trip to Moalboal costs 100 pesos. Reception is working till 7pm, so we had problems checking out early in the morning. Breakfast takes long time to make - we had to wait almost an hour.

Everything is great except for the bed
The marcosa is generally a very nice, calm, and peaceful place. Good value for money, as in those prices you usually get much worse places. The pool is big and useful (unlike places with small pool which is only there for decoration) We had a private cottage, it's super quite and great, the bed though was terrible, the matress is very thin, and you feel the bottom of the bed. At first we got a room with 2 single beds, and only after a few minutes of arguing the room was changed (it still had 2 mattresses, but at least on a single bed) In general - recommended for this budget, very good value for money. I think better places in moalboal are only the expensive resorts

Central location
The hotel is well maintained with a very clean pool. It was very conveniently located near 2 dive shops and a mini-mart. The hotel is within easy walking distance of many local restaurants and beach massage. The food at the hotel is also delicious and well presented. The bungalows are well spaced and very private in lovely gardens.
