Quiet, clean and comfortable economy hotel

No frills kind of place in a quiet area. The rooms were very clean, looked to be newly remodeled. Beds were very comfortable. No coffee in room But some in office available. The free breakfast was not much but there is a Hardee’s next door. Convenient location to Mardi Gras activities.

Decent place for just a night.

Room was very clean and great bed. No coffee maker in room and breakfast was only 2 types of cereal, small muffins and coffee. Very skimpy. Decent value for just a night.

I generally don't select a hotel based on the name (lipstick on a pig). I stay somewhere along the path. The lobby was closed and there's no coffee in the room. You can have either but not neither. The room itself was clean and quiet.

Wonderful friendly staff. Moved us to first level because we had a baby without us asking. Very kind. Explained everything. Hands down cleanest motel I have ever been to. I was shocked even the side walks were swept it couldn’t have been any cleaner. Even the pool area that was closed was clean.you can tell the owners take pride in their property. I would recommend. Shocked it was so clean and affordable.

I slept well at this property, however, one of the amenities advertised (breakfast) was not provided. Why? I don't know. It didn't look like there was a remodel in progress. The staff, while friendly and courteous, always did business behind the night window - the lobby was closed off (even in the morning). One has to ring the door buzzer or call a number to get one of the staff to attend to the guest when ready to check-in or check-out. Still, the staff person on duty was attentive. The property is quiet and restful and conveniently located near dining establishments.

“Breakfast “ was laughable. Nothing hot except coffee. Fruit loops or corn flakes. OJ in a gallon container. Bananas. And really horrid pastry in a pre-wrapped package that had so much grease one’s heart might it explode (I didn’t even consider for one second trying). Those were the “breakfast “ options!!
