"The cabin was really cute. Homey and quaint. A true log cabin. There was a pond behind it and trees to separate us from the cabin next door. Beds were good, and the kitchen had coffee fixings and a refrigerator. Loved the fire ring and provided wood overlooking the small pond, even though we didn’t get to use it because of the dry conditions. My only complaint, and it is the same with all properties, is that you don’t get a true perspective of the area around the cabins. Especially in more remote places, where google earth isn't that helpful. I wanted a cabin in the woods, or other remote area. From the pictures it looks that way. However, it is right off a main road and not really remote. However, it isn’t in a parking lot, nor it is near a highway. That happens more times, than not, when I have to pick a cabin in someplace I have never been. Wish we could go back to real, accurate pictures like we used to get."

"We had the cabin up on the hill that had a covered deck that looked out to the rocks, trees, and hillside--extremely private and incredible view. All of us were senior citizens and we managed the stairs to the loft quite readily--it's equipped with railing on both side and this provided the safety, just take it slow in the night and do use both rails, not matter your age, the steps seem a little shallow in depth. Upstairs-- two double beds were comfortable, the sofa bed was not. Plan on just one person there on the couch or plan to bring your own blow up mattress or camping pad. We used bedding on the unfolded couch and it was "okay" just obviously not very roomy. As in any loft building, the upstairs will be warmer. Our stay was in September so it was fine. There was a fan upstairs and there is a good air conditioning/heating unit downstairs. It has a nice feature where it stays constant rather than on and off that could bother the downstairs sleeper. The kitchen isn't elaborately equipped. Bring your own cooking oil, and don't expect a baking dish. Simple dinners worked--eggs and toast, brats, soup, etc. We had our own drip coffee filter but there was a coffee pot. We missed that there wasn't an electric water kettle. So you had to use the kitchen pot to make tea/hot water/drip coffee. Hey, it's not camping and highly recommend staying here, would totally stay again. Beautiful, felt brand new, locked bikes and stored things on covered porch. Loved it!!"

"The rooms were very clean, had a spider or two but that wasn't bad at all. The staff make very good use of the space which is VERY LIMITED. But the charming cute village of cabins made for a very comfortable stay. The breakfast options were very limited, I would grab something for the road or stop at a local restaurant for a full meal. Parking was easy and convenient."
