"Absolutely stunning scenery in the countryside to go with quiet, quaint hotel rooms. The escape from loud, busy city life was wonderful and the staff there was welcoming and accommodating. The breakfast buffet had a little bit of everything as well. Wish we had stayed longer and will definitely be back! "

"Amazing room although could use a freshen up paint wise . Housekeeping was hit and miss but didn’t really bother us . If you stay in the Virginia Wolfe suite be prepared for some notice and NO privacy from the street of your shutters are open., also everytime someone opens and shuts the main door you Weill hear and feel it in this suite . All that being said it was a great place to stay and a great location, easy to get to public transport and restaurants and bars. Leiden itself is beautiful rain hail or shine . "
"Top shelf! We booked last minute as we weren’t sure where we would end up on our roadtrip. Our room-with three beds as requested-was ready when we walked in. The room itself was lovely-well appointed and very comfortable. The balcony was also really nice. The on site restaurant is wonderful and ending our evening with drinks on the canal was perfect. We added breakfast and it was fantastic. We will absolutely stay again!"
