Nice buffet breakfast. They even made my waffle for me. Used the gym and lots of great places to eat nearby. If you are doing a day trip to Charleston, stay here and save a ton on a hotel room.

I imagine this hotel was quite impressive 20–30 years ago, but today it feels outdated. The breakfast was disappointing—poor in quality and limited in choice, with a staff member handing you a pre-set “meal” rather than a buffet or menu. On the positive side, the location is nice and quiet. However, be prepared to carry your luggage, as the property consists of multiple buildings and may require a bit of walking.

The customer service at this place was amazing! Would give it six stars if I could. There are a lot of restaurants right around the hotel and the front office Ames you an entire list of places to go. The rooms have some dated items inside the room and honestly could use a fresh coat of paint, but it was absolutely a great experience and stay and I will go back gladly
