Apartment was spacious and has everything we needed. Im a very light sleeper so we asked to have an apartment at the back. It was quiet for most of the time. However you can hear the lift. Didn’t bother my children at all just me. Also the apartment above us when they decided to have a shower or bath at midnight it woke me up. But it pipes in an old building. The hotel is run efficiently from reception , through to the restaurant, bar staff, ( particularly Juan !) and the amazing house keeping staff. It was such a pleasure to walk back into our room every day to find it immaculately clean and tidy. The breakfast was one of the best we have experienced and we would definitely recommend the Paxton to people wanting to visit Barecelona. There should be laws to prevent hotels to use these rooms allocated to those who truly need them. I urge Expedia to take this issue seriously and reflect that in their terms of business. At a minimum we should be warned in advance and know what we are getting. We immediately requested the change and the receptionist refused to...

"They charged me £35, but when I arrived at the hotel, it was completely closed. The gates were shut, all the doors were locked, and there was no sign of life — no staff, no guests, nothing. I tried to contact the hotel directly but received no helpful response. I then reached out to Expedia customer service, but they refused to issue a refund. It was clearly a scam — no one was there, and it appears they’re just taking money from people. This is unacceptable and very poor service. I strongly...
