Castello di Montegufoni
Advertised as a stay in castle, given an apartment outside the castle at the car park! Last night of stay and the next morning No hot water! No cleaning for 7 days, no change of the sheets or towels. Tree cutting at 8am. Apartment smells like damp. Cleaners while cleaning other apartments talking ...

Il Rivalta - Place of Charme
The hotel is extremely charming and in a fabulous location on the river Arno one block from Ponte Vecchio. Breakfast was fresh with good variety of eggs and meats and cheeses and lots of pastry and cereal. Also the coffee of course does not disappoint.

The accommodation was nice, but checking in/speaking to reception took ages because of a lack of staff. It took 2 requests to get an extra pillow because they only provided 3 pillows for the two of us. The main issue, though, was the wifi. It didn't work on my laptop, even when I created a new account ...
