"If we had to return to one place in all of Italy, we’d choose Il Tosco. It was absolutely SPECTACULAR! Elena was the most wonderful hostess, providing many recommendations, of which every one was spot on! The breakfast was out of this world - better than any place we’ve ever stayed. Kitchen was stocked with the most delicious olive oil cake and many other goodies around the living area to enjoy. Walkable to everything in Montepulciano. I could not overstate how wonderful this bed and breakfast is - RUN, don’t walk to make your reservation here. Two nights was not enough!"

"Incredible stay at this property. The location is amazing close to Multepulteno as well. We did a drive to sienna. we loved the pools. The staff were incredible. The room was clean and spacious. The AC was cold. The food was delicious. The breakfast was amazing the scenery and property itself were phenomenal. "

"This is the place you want to go to for peace and tranquility. We thoroughly enjoyed the mild climate in the beginning of June and the serenity of the surroundings. We trveled vis public transport, i.e. train and taxi, but I would recommend to use go via car or bike instead."

"This is the most charming boutique hotel, in one of the most beautiful towns in all of Italy. It sits right near the top of the hill, and overlooks the Tuscan Hills. The sunset view is truly breathtaking. The rooms are so clean, the window views of the valley are stunning, and their restaurant is quite delicious!! I’m a widow and this was my first vacation alone, in thirty-five years. They staff at La Locanda were gracious, very helpful, and tried their best to ensure everything was going well for all their patrons. From the young man that checked me in and carried my way over-packed suitcase upstairs, to the lovely young ladies at breakfast, and a favorite that checked me out upon leaving…Thank You! Thank you for making my stay in Montepulciano so very special. You had no idea my heart was shattered, but your attention to detail and your kindness was endless. "Last min booking and what a great find. The first property through the arch at Car Park 1. Lovely old building. 6 rooms available, ours was room 6 top floor, just stairs and quite tight at the top. Great views across the countryside. Couldn't have been better, will definitely use again. "
