Everything at La Playa was amazing. The facilities, food, staff and proximity to the beach and Ocean Avenue shopping area. The hotel had a great boutique feel and was very classy. I would stay there again!!

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at the La Playa Hotel. Hospitality was excellent and all the staff was very friendly. The room and amenities were great. You can't beat the location. It's just a few minutes from the beach and the main shopping area in Carmel. We appreciated the amenities that were offered on top, like a private driver bringing you to and picking you up from your dinner reservation or their happy hour with free cocktails in the afternoon or warm cookies in the evening. The champagne breakfast was incredible and easily one of the best breakfast buffets we've ever had offering a wide variety of options. We also appreciated the hotel bar Bud's, a dark & moody cocktail bar with fantastic cocktails and excellent food. We ended up spending quite some time there. Overall we had a fantastic time, and can't wait to visit again. We highly recommend the place.

The spread is incredible, and the salmon caper hash browns are absolutely to die for, one of the best dishes we have ever had anywhere. Enjoying it all with ocean views has become one of our favorite traditions. The staff is consistently on point as well: attentive, professional, friendly, and always a step ahead in making sure every detail of your stay is perfect.
