Search Bed and Breakfast in Monteverde

"Very convenient location. Walkable to restaurants and shops. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Jocelyn and Diego provided excellent local insight to excursions, routes, and more. Excellent breakfast included - full of flavor. Inviting, cozy, and comfortable common spaces which encouraged us to meet other travelers. Comfortable bed and room. Be mindful that any location in Monteverde is (obviously) on a mountain, in the cloud forest, and in-town. So, it's generally a windy and sometimes rainy area and there may be some street noise. Come with some light layers, a raincoat, good walking/hiking shoes and maybe earplugs if you're sensitive. Overall this is an excellent bed and breakfast. We highly recommend it!"

"The hotel was great overall. Location was close to town but also felt a bit secluded and private. The multiple small hot tubs were a nice touch. Solid breakfast buffet! Only critique is wifi. It was spotty in places in shared areas and was only accessible on the balconies. Extending the wifi to the rooms would make this the perfect stay."

"The property grounds are incredible, offering an abundance of options for guests to explore and have access to. All staff encountered were kind and helpful. It was also a complete benefit that the Cloud Forest shuttle is literally right across the road! We would definitely stay here again!"

"No power at electrical outlets in vanity room, no hot water in the morning in shower stall and vanity sinks, no coffee available in the Lobby. Recommend Springs Resort & Spa as their facility has outstanding facilities & services. "

"We left after only one night because the bugs in the room were so bad we got eaten alive. Holes in the screens allowed large beetles into the room and the biting insects were so bad I couldn’t read on my tablet because it attracted the biting insects and my hands the next day were swollen with insect bites. No mosquito nets or fans were in the room to help so we suffered all night and were horribly bit up by the morning. In addition the room door did not stay adequately closed and we had to lodge a sunscreen tube into the crack to stop it from banging all night long. The towels and blankets were frayed and dingy, making me think some of our bites were bed bugs. we did not use the shower because it was so filthy. When we approached the owner about the bugs he was beyond rude, attempted to gaslight us into making it our problem and we received no refund for the additional days we couldn’t stay there. The bad food, and hard beds are hardly worth mentioning compared to the rest of the unpleasantness that was our experience here. I have traveled the world and this was by far my worst hotel experience. "
