All good....except the employees gather and smoke outside the front door. We are allergic to tobacco and vape ingredients. This occurred both morning and evening. No one was at desk for checkout.

Nice hotel. Nice staff. Breakfast was good, easy check in and check out. The bed was horrible. Neither of us slept and my husband likes a firm bed.

Charged me twice for a room and wanted to argue with me about refunding me. While taking a shower the tub almost over flowed because the water wasn’t draining.

Needs a make-over
This is the second time we’ve stayed in this hotel. It is getting old and is in need of a make-over. Carpets look soiled, our desk chair was torn, and many marks, dents, and stains on walls. There was a bug of some kind in our bathroom.

When we checked in we had to bring our luggage upstairs as there was no first floor rooms. However, the elevators were not working. When we got to our room the tv remote didn’t work and my son said the first desk was not friendly. The Chiat at the desk is broken and we have to stay in a handicapped room. Not happy at all and would like to know how this can be adjusted as we have paid advance for such a horrible experience.

Overall great place but the elevator was broken down off and on for 3 days. Could not use pool because the humidifier was broken. Room too hot. A discount should have been offered.

The Place to Stay if Visiting Monticello
We were in Monticello to visit family. Our stay was very positive. The staff at the hotel are very friendly and eager to please. The breakfast was nice and the woman who manages was a ray of sunshine. The front desk staff were efficient and helped us with several small matters. The public areas were clean and the area across from the front desk is very nice. Our two rooms were very clean. The handicapped accessible room was very spacious.

Will never stay here again
The check in process was quick. The room was clean, but had a funny smell. The bed was so hard I couldn't sleep. The pillows were unsupportive and I was mad at myself for not bringing my own. The breakfast was decent.... but no bacon so I was really sad about that. Biscuits and gravy would have also been excellent. The omlets they had were from frozen and had bell peppers in them... not really my cup of tea. The coffee was atrocious. The check out process was long, and she wanted to charge me an extra 50 just *in case* the room was trashed. Sigh... that didn't happen. In short, I'll never stay here again.

From this area and came into town to visit family. Staff are friendly and properly was nice and clean. Did not get up early enough for breakfast so can’t comment on the food.

Did not get into room until 8:00 pm waiting for it to be cleaned. Lock would not work! Made multiple trips to desk for help with door. Coffee machine was broken so there was no coffee for breakfast. Paid way too much for bad service.
