Lovely historic building. A very welcoming arrival from the receptionist who helped explain local dining options. A beautiful place to stay with all mod cons.

Stunning property in a equally beautiful French village. The hotel is exquisite. The walkable village is lovely with many shops and good restaurants. Highly recommend. Close driving distance - 5 mins to Lascaux caves, 8 mins to Chateau Losse.

Luxury without the stuffy
Unexpected luxury in the heart of Dordogne. You could feel the grandeur and history of the hotel. Tastefully preserved with all the modern comforts. Plus a close walk to the medieval town and riverside. We booked the suite, a perfect escape for our family of 4 (plus a toddler). The staff went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. The restaurants was special, with a unique deluxe menu of local foods/wines. We sadly didn’t try the pool or spa, but would definitely recommend all the amenities.

Amazing historic hotel near Lascaux
Absolutely perfect stay. The hotel is amazing combining historic and current elements. The staff is helpful and attentive. The dinner was outstanding. Great location near Lascaux caves.

This place was so beautiful. When we arrived, the staff was nice and welcoming. The rooms were also spacious with great views. We had a plumbing issue in our first room and they promptly moved us to another room with an even better view. It's perfect if you're looking for a quiet getaway. And the pool had just opened, which was also wonderful. All around a great property and I hope to go back one day!

Fifteenth century manor house on the river in Marignac, restored and tastefully converted to a ten room boutique hotel, with elegant salons, pleasant terraces, excellent restaurant and charming staff. They are adding a spa and swimming pool. Gorgeous place in a delightful village. Very convenient to Lascaux IV. I would return with pleasure.

Beautiful hotel & rooms. Parking right outside the hotel. Room was beautiful but missing a few things like water, coffee machine & chairs for relaxing in. €8 for 2 coffee’s is pretty expensive, as is €12 for a small cocktail.

Great hotel in Montignac
We loved this hotel. It is easily walkable into town. Everything is beautifully updated. The restaurant was wonderful. The staff were very helpful. I would definitely recommend staying here if you are traveling in this area.

Nice rustic hotel. Spacious rooms. Charming for those who like the style though amenities are plentiful. Patronized the restaurant for dinner. Food was tasty but service was uneven and very slow.

The location is superb being close to the many things to see. Parking in front of the hotel was readily available. There is a wonderful park across the road for a scenic view of the river and a picnic lunch. You can have a glorious dinner at the hotel. The place is really old of course and thus space in the room can be challenging. Curtains in the room to block the morning sunlighare very effective but is not easy to open or close. Closet door canno be full opened as it hits the foot of the bed. The bathroom door is a bit creeky. They have a safe on a high shelf so is a bit hard to access. They have a bathrobe which is nice. Plus a pool which we did not try out.

Go for it!
If the exterior doesn't impress, nothing will. Balcony rooms are accessible by anyone on premises, so heads up, it's not private. Other than that, it was a winner for us!

Lovely building with nice view
Good welcome at reception and beautiful old room. Reception staff excellent and made good recommendations for dinner and sightseeing in spite of my limited French and her limited English. Room clean, spacious and quite unique. On the downside the restaurant wasn’t open on Monday or Tuesday evenings and breakfast wasn’t great value though the quality was good. Nice historic building convenient for Lascaux and further exploration.

a bit let down
arrived early and the room was ready only to be told that the restaurant would be closed at night. we had a call from the hotel to say that the restaurant would be closed for lunch and open in the evening. very disappointing as it was my husband's birthday. there was no tea or coffee in the room and the bar was shut as well. very disapointing and would not be recommending it to anyone. breakfast a was 17 euro's and there was corn flakes and bread, jam etc we thought it was expensive for what we got.

Très bel Hôtel situé dans un bâtiment classé Monument Historique, juste devant la Vezere. Personnel très aimable et de bon conseil. Hôtel superbement décoré, avec goût et raffinement, tout comme les chambres dont les moindres détails ont été pensés par l’architecte d’intérieur. Magnifique et vaste chambre, bien équipée, notamment avec des produits cosmétiques de qualité. Sympathique piscine. Parking devant l’hôtel. Un superbe hôtel, raffiné, à conseiller sans aucune restriction !

Un très très bel hôtel avec un personnel attentif sans être envahissant. Le restaurant est tout simplement parfait. La décoration est soignée, l'ensemble est cosy. Le petit-déjeuner est divin, avec des produits frais et authentiques. Je recommande.
