Hotels near Montville Dog Park

"We arrived a day earlier than we had anticipated. The hotel was very accommodating and could accommodate us a day early. Expedia, however, would not allow the change in arrival date. I had to go ahead and pay for the room again. It is what it is. The real problem was the number of children who were completely ignored by their parents and left to behave like animals. If the guests won't police their children, the hotel staff should step in and ask the parents to settle their children. "

"Staff at night was friendly and helpful. Daytime folks were effective but less charming. Parking was reasonable. The stench of weed in the stairwell was obtrusive, but I guess that's what we're supposed to expect nowadays? The water pressure in the shower was waxing and waning. Maybe that was related to the number of people there--it was full. The Mexican place attached to the hotel is excellent. Overall, it was a good stay and I would stay there again."

"The shower faucet was not working well and you cannot control the temperature of the room. The only thing you can do for the temperature is to turn off the thermostat. The parking however was the worst offense seeing as we’re already paying for the room we should be able to get free parking. Parking was unnecessarily $15 a night and WiFi was not free either."

"My family stayed in the one bedroom, double bed. The living room was in a separate space, with a pull out couch. The pull out couch mattress was more comfortable than the double bed mattresses. The staff was friendly. The ice was available downstairs with the staff. Kitchen included microwave, toaster, coffee maker, pot, pan, utensils, dishes, stove top. Dishwasher. No oven. The bathroom was spacious and closet space was spacious. We didn't like that the parking fee was $30 per night, which was not mentioned in the listing. I don't understand why they charged for parking, because we were quite a distance from any other properties to visit- it was in a office industrial park environment. No businesses within walking distance to visit or eat, etc. So, the fact that the hotel charged for parking on a nightly basis was just a money grab. They were taking advantage of their customers. I do not appreciate that. Walmart, fast food, Chinese food, pizza place, etc were within 20 minutes of hotel in Morristown. Medieval Times was in Lyndhurst."
