"Highly recommend the Pillo. The rooms are spacious, immaculate, and have all amenities you would need (iron, hairdryer etc.) The food in the restaurant was very good, as was breakfast, and the menus catered well for everyone. The hotel had entertainment provided in the evening for the children, and an arcade room, which is perfect for families with young kids. We all enjoyed the pool and spa, which again, was super clean and well maintained. We chose this hotel as it is close to Emerald Park, so its perfect if you're visiting the area for that reason. "

"The room was not large, but adequate, and the bathroom was modern with a nice, heated towel bar to dry your swim trunks if you choose to use the pool or hot tub next door. Breakfast was very good though there is no lunch or dinner served. The one walkable restaurant, The Black Bull, was a good choice. I would stay here again."

"Lovely hotel, newly refurbished. Loved the decor Breakfast good. Beds very comfortable. Good size rooms with excellent wardrobe space.Menu choices very good and reasonably priced Singer on Sunday evening though not on until 10-ish. chilled bottled water in rooms a nice touch. We very much enjoyed our 3 night stay"

"The general condition of the hotel was poor and it just seemed cold and dirty with a lack of pride taken in the hotels building and the guest rooms. The Hotel room was very warm, it seemed like the heating was constantly on as the radiators were always very hot and it never felt like they were getting cooler . You couldn't sleep at night it was like a sauna. We tried to move the temperature setting on the wall gauge in our room but the gauge started to constantly make a ticking noise every 2 minutes and this went on and on for a long period of time, so we had to change it back again for it to stop ticking. There were bits of carpet missing in our room, the floor area around the door had no carpet which was a safety hazard. Toilet wouldn't flush properly. Staff were ok but could be a lot better. On a positive note the location right by the beach and sea is great and it's a lovely setting, although it doesn't really make up for the let down of the hotel as I probably wouldn't stay here again. We were left disappointed, as what we had seen on the hotel website with how the hotel, its guest rooms and the overall way the hotel is marketed was a little misleading. I never am one to leave a review and certainly not a negative one, although as we were so disappointed with are overall experience, I had to write one on this occasion. "

"Stayed at the hotel for 3 nights and it was a lovely stay. Staff are great ,food was really good and even though breakfast was self service it was lovely plenty to choose from, hot food cereals etc. Room we stayed in was a big room only thing is a bit dated but clean tidy. Our first time staying here and we will definitely stay here again."

"Good hotel, large bedroom with walk in shower and quality towels in bathroom. Not much of a view from bedroom but very comfortable. Breakfast pretty good with range of fruit, cereal, continental and cooked options. There is also a supermarket next door for a great range of additional essentials."
