"The residence is in a quiet peaceful location reached via a windy hillly road. In the 4 nights we stayed in early September, we saw, from the large windows of our rooms, clear views of the hills and mountain, starry nights, misty cloudy views and even a lightening show. All spectacular. The two rooms were spacious enough and clean to our liking, affordable, the staff friendly and Chamonix a half hour drive away. "

"This was literally the absolute worst hotel (really, it was more like a hostel) that I have stayed in either stateside or abroad. The property only allows you to communicate with them during two short periods daily around check-in and out. Their information indicates check in is not on the property. After needing to call for clarification, we were given a separate address that led us to the same location. There is no parking at the actual hotel because of construction. "The room was a lot smaller than expected and the bedroom was actually on extend to the lounge with only a bifold door separating them. You couldn’t watch the tv as the sofas were not able to be positioned in the right place. Unfortunately there was shards of glass on one of the sofas which my daughter cut her hand on. They did attempt to hoover it up with the most disgusting dirty hoover I have ever seen. But in the end had to change the cover. They weren’t very apologetic about this and didn’t seem to understand the potential implications. The radiator in the “bedroom” wasn’t working and had to be fixed. There is only one plug socket in the kitchen so you have to change the kettle, toaster, coffee machine over as you need to use them. In general there aren’t enough plug sockets and the room is really dated. Ski locker is very small for 4 people skiing. Great location and views, and snow was lovely."
