"Helpful staff, clean spacious room, restaurant with reasonable selection of good food. Good choice at breakfast buffet. Close to River Mosel could not see as Mway and buildings in way. On a main road. Good frequency of bus service to centre of Trier 6 km distant. Good value for money"

"Everything costs extra. There is no electric kettle in your room - you will have to pay €5 extra. Drinking water costs extra. Rooms are not soundproofed. We heard every footstep down the hallway. We were woken at 3AM by someone running down the hallway on both nights. We could even hear the neighbours using the toilet. On a positive note, there is air conditioning but book with caution; we were made to feel like they were doing us a favour and we weren't paying €135 per night for a dark small...

"Hotel ist zu Fuß schlecht zu erreichen, da der Weg an der Landstraße sehr unübersichtlich und gefährlich ist. Das Hotel ist in die Jahre gekommen. Allerdings sind die Zimmer und Möbel mittlerweile renoviert, bzw. neu. Das Bad war alt, aber sauber. Leider ohne Heizkörper. Ferner war die Nachtspeicherheizung im Zimmer aus den 60er Jahren und bestimmt nicht mehr ökologisch vertretbar. Das Treppenhaus und die Flure waren renovierungsbedürftig.
