"We had a great stay. Room was very clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly, professional. Price was very reasonable. It is an older motel but very quaint and we would stay there again if we were in the area. Sometimes the bigger chains are just too pricey and not nearly as comfortable as this one. "

"Our stay started with a calamity in that a man in the next room began shouting at a woman on the phone -- and kept on going. He was very loud. We asked for a new room and got it quickly. The staff was excellent in helping us with that. The breakfast was excellent, featuring scrambled eggs and sausage, biscuits and waffles (and more). All carpets had been or were being cleaned (the carpet was even still damp). One suggestion for the hotel: The tiny shampoo, conditioner, and lotion were hard to squeeze out -- perhaps a different type of bottle is in order? "

There is evidence on the ceiling of a prior leak in the main room and the bathroom. The refrigerator didn’t work. There was no desk or chair. And no WiFi. The door locked but didn’t seem secure enough to stop any potential robber."
