"Accomodation had been double booked. Instead of cancelling the booking from their end the host messaged me on trivago, since I was expecting a message anyway for the login code, and you have to login to read messages I left it. We liked the location of the property, an easy walk to down town but far enough out to be able to get a carpark. Especially good that the hotel is in a repurposed office building. Perhaps the hallway carpets could be cleaned."

Annabel was an outstanding host, very delightful and so helpful. Breakfast was fantastic and small things like the chocolates in the room reminded us of a by gone era of hospitality. If you are going to stay anywhere in NZ make sure this hotel is on the top of list!"
