"Unfortunately the property was not clean. There were flies all around the breakfast area, sitting on and flying around fruits and cheeses. Staff was made aware of this, but they did not bother to cover the fruits or cheeses. The bedding in the room had stains in various places when we walked in. Not recommended unless everything else is booked up and there is no other choice."

"The staff was wonderful; they really made our stay special. They were helpful, kind, and knowledgable. The breakfast was very good and very reliable. The room was clean and cleaned daily. If we needed anything, we could ask. The bed was very comfortable. The property was far (for El Chalten) from the bus station but close to one of the best hikes. The other hikes were also easy to get to. The only down side was the fact that a structure was built in front. It does not affect the upper floor. We were on the first floor and not affected by it very much either. But a couple of units would be. "

"Parking right on front of hotel, easy to find, felt secure. Staff was extremely friendly, helped with all questions. Hotel seems modern, Jacuzzi and sauna was great after a long day hiking. spots need to be reserved to avoid overcrowding, was no problem during our stay. "

"Vertical Lodge is conveniently located near the main area in El Chalten and provides easy walking access to anywhere needed in town and to hiking trails. The room was very clean and spacious with nice and updated bathrooms. The staff is extremely kind and the breakfast that is provided is perfect before a long day of hiking. Highly recommend!"
