"Very clean and tidy room, comfortable beds, the owner maintained the hotel in a very good condition, you can relax yourself by their private onsen, highly recommended!!"
"Phenomenal, phenomenal! This was extremely comfortable, wonderful staff, lovely room with a great view of the bay. We saw the fireworks for the Black Ship Festival. The balcony onsen was extremely private and comfortable. Would highly recommend that this be your number one choice of hotel if you are in Shimoda."

"Older facility but very well maintained. Beautiful view from the room. Happy hours is a plus (drinks included, foot bath with a view, snacks). Recommended if you have a car to explore the Izu Peninsula during your stay as there is more limited options nearby the hotel (nearby town has more options for dining). "
"Friendly, helpful staff. Great room with lovely water views, amazing Onsen, lovely Japanese breakfast served by enthusiastic staff. Great place to stay and excellant value!"
"The traditional Japanese hotel is so spacious that it surprises us the minute we walked in. It has a full living area, a bedroom and a long patio that provides excellent view to the back yard. It has a private indoor hot spring tub and a private outdoor onsen. The back yard lead to hotel garden area which has all kinds of beautiful flowers and plan. Mountain is just next to the backyard. The ambience was excellent. A simple traditional Japanese breakfast was provided for free a request."
"Lovely staff, good breakfast. Pool wasn’t open the beginning of July as we hoped but we could still enjoy the pool deck and the beach and ocean were close by and refreshing to swim in."
"This place is a welcomed respite after Tokyo. We enjoyed our time here relaxing. The rooms were clean and spacious, the food was great, and the workers were very helpful. I would stay here again!"
