"The owner messaged me before our stay asking for my email so I could pay via paypal. I told him we had already paid for the room on hotels.com, but he said that was incorrect. I finally convinced him that I had paid the nightly fee, just not the cleaning or linen fees. At this point I was concerned it was a scam so I checked with hotels.com and they confirmed that it was in fact legitimate. "Stayed during a weekend skiing at Whakapapa. Very convenient location. Lady at check in very friendly & helpful. Lots of DVDs available to watch for a quiet night in. Bed comfortable, walls thin so could hear next room but not an issue & slept very well. Would definitely stay again"

"We’ve stayed here on a few occasions and been lucky enough to get the same room with incredible mountain view each time (king studio with ensuite). We think this accommodation is excellent value and having 2 spa pools and a sauna is a lovely bonus at the end of a day at the mountain or doing outdoor pursuits. Can easily walk to Main Street for shops, eateries and coffee etc. will always return. Thanks for another great stay. "
