"The staff were very nice and even gave me a trail recommendation given we could not do the alpine crossing as planned that day! The unit was very clean and cozy and had exactly what was needed for a comfortable stay. The location was great, only 15 minute drive from the national park visitor center. The property is very peaceful and I enjoyed watching the alpacas at night from the back yard. Would highly recommend!"

"Great helpful staff, nice and cozy unit. Plenty of blankets and heaters, kitchen had loads of cooking tools and dishes. Right on the lake! Restaurants nearby in Taupō were plentiful and grocery nearby made it convenient to shop for cooking in, too. Would totally come back!"

"Yes the room was clean and tidy - the walls are thin so you need courteous neighbours which on one night we did not :) but that is not the fault of the accommodation. We have already booked our next stay."
