Great Room to Relax In.

Let me start of by saying the size of our king size room was wonderful. Had plenty of room to spread out. The room was very clean and quiet. The lobby was under renovation and a little noisy, but did not take away from our overall enjoyment of the property. The front desk staff were extremely pleasant and made the check in and out very easy.

Sufficient hotel.

Convenient location when passing through. Friendly staff and sufficient facilities. Normal aging from traffic. Hallways, shower and elevator could use some cleaning. I would stay there again.

Clean and maintained

Room was clean, pool was operational and the gym was available. I've stayed at this hotel a few times now and it's always up to par.

Convenient location, large rooms, friendly staff. However the hotel was going through renovations so it was very dirty in the lobby and elevator areas. The workmanship of the renovation was mediocre at best. Very sloppy work, toilet paper holder falling out of wall, grout everywhere on the tile and shower pan. I would definitely not have paid for their work. Paint everywhere I could have done a better job than they were doing.

They are redoing the rooms. Mine had removed the carpet and put down linoleum floor. New grouting in the bathroom. Was very clean! New carpet in hallways as well! Very pleased.

Great weekend trip!

Employees at front desk were efficient and helpful with restaurant suggestions and help with Ref River Gorge information. The hotel was clean and our room comfortable. We used the clean, fully equipped fitness room and enjoyed breakfast both mornings with a variety of food choices.

This hotel was under renovation, and this caused some minor inconveniences during my stay. There was only one elevator working. I had to wait several times to get an elevator to go to my room or the lobby. The ice maker on my floor was broken, so I had to go up two floors to get ice. During the breakfast time in the morning, there was very limited seating for everyone that was eating breakfast. I took my food to my room, but had to wait a long time to get an elevator, so my food was not hot when I got back to the room. It would have been nice to know ahead of my stay that the hotel was undergoing renovations.

Everything was as expected for my stay. The hotel was nice, the staff treated me well, and my room was clean. It's out of Holiday Inns control, but the hotel is the only property on the street that is upkept. The other properties are in various stages of urban decay.

The carpet was heavily soiled. The beds were very soft. Way too cushioned as my back hurt upon waking. The bathroom was clean and Vicky in housekeeping was amazing.

The hotel is really nice. Very clean, the staff is friendly, and they even have fresh cookies in the lobby for guests! Only downside to my visit was the phone in the room did not work, and the comforters in the room are very broken down so it’s basically like another sheet. Other than that the stay was fantastic.

Not up to Holiday Inn Express standards

Bathroom door scraped the floor so bad it was almost impossible to shut. If you did get it shut good luck getting it open without someone on the other side pushing! When we checked in there were crumbs and an open drink bottle on the floor. Housekeeping did a much better job yesterday but the image of other people's garbage is hard to shake.
