"We booked a cabin, and enjoyed our stay. Close to town to buy food and a few restaurants. There is a restaurant right next to the lodge, it was good. The only draw back was you can’t see Mt. Ranier from Packwood. "

"This is not a fancy place but a rustic and cozy, a comfortable place to stay. We had a warm welcome from Zach and Dean. TV worked well and bathroom was adequate. We did not use the kitchen except for making morning coffee. It looked to be adequately stocked. We also did not use the pool or hot tub. The sunrise highway entrance is close as is the road to Crystal mountain. It was a nice stay. Thank you "
"We stayed in the Chalet Garden Suite during our stay. The property itself is surrounded by many trees so it peaceful and relaxing. The owners are responsive should you have any questions or need anything during your stay. There is a compact refrigerator that is stocked with breakfast items daily by housekeeping. We really enjoyed this perk, since there are limited options for breakfast in the area. Coffee and tea are also provided but you may want to bring your own bottled water and/or juice. A welcome notebook is in the suite that has information regarding Mt. Rainier (trails and scenic lookouts) and other area information (such as dining options). The inn itself has a wooden sign that is lighted but you have to be alert when driving to know exactly where the entrance is--it is a hidden gem!
