I had a wide desk and comfortable chair, and a large twin bed with a very comfortable duvet. The bathroom has modern decor and the hairdryer is almost completely silent. My room faced the city so there was some noise from the traffic below but not too much."

"The Ryokan has an excellent location at the seaside with many good restaurants near by. Japanese breakfast was delicious and there was a beautiful inner garden . It is conveniently located right by the bike path connecting to the Shimanami Kaido and a short walk from the Ferry / Cycle boat to Onomichi. The hosts were very friendly and went above and beyond to help me with luggage shipping . The hotel facilitates luggage transportation between hotels and the Ryokan is affiliated with Sagawa luggage services, which is very convenient in case you want to bike luggage free. It is an old building but very clean and there is quite a bit of charm with an Old Japan feeling . Highly recommend !"
