However , it's still lacking in details. 1) the path to getvto the hotel is rough and hard to navigate , 2) the reservation system is not up to scrap and need modernisation , 3) the built suffered in storm , 4) out driver didn't revive a lunch box where we got one from every other lodge . "Supremely clean, extremely well- appointed rooms/tents, the food was superb and the staff beyond friendy and professional! Specifically wanted to mention nBaraka who helped us with rental car issues and advocated for us constantly. Also he was instrumental in helping us get our permits for Ngorongoro Crater and Olduvai Gorge. "Family 'room' was excellent. However, for a December visit a bathroom heater was sorely needed and towel bars for drying towels. Every resort should have a safety bar in shower for young or old!"

"We had a beautiful stay at Rhotia Valley Tented Lodge. The staff was wonderful and very kind, especially Jumo. A portion of the money from your stay goes to the children's home located next to the hotel, which you are able to visit while staying there. The area and view around the hotel are beautiful, however there is a bumpy uphill road to reach the hotel. The dining room is a beautiful space as well and we had a wonderful meal there! "

"It was excellent. The grounds are beautiful. The the food is superb. The room is large it had two king size bed and a fireplace a sitting area. we stayed at this Four Season in the Serengeti. this was comparable for a lot less money. I would stay here again. In fact, we extended our stay one day just to enjoy the service and the food. It is definitely a jewel."

"An unforgettable start to my safari adventure — highly recommended! I had the pleasure of spending my first night at Escarpment, Lake Manyara, and it was truly the perfect introduction to the beauty of Tanzania. The lodge is perched above Lake Manyara National Park, offering endless, breathtaking views of the lake and surrounding park — a true feast for the eyes. The suite was exceptionally spacious, beautifully appointed, and designed to immerse you in nature without sacrificing comfort. What truly stood out, however, was the service: the entire team was warm, attentive, and made me feel genuinely cared for throughout my stay. One of the most memorable touches was being escorted around the grounds by the Maasai security guards, who ensure guest safety due to the possibility of encountering wildlife roaming freely. In particular, one of the Maasai guides kindly offered to take me on a morning walk to watch the sunrise over Lake Manyara. It was an incredibly authentic and peaceful experience — we were even fortunate enough to spot an elephant wandering nearby, and the three of us stood together, quietly witnessing this magical moment as nature unfolded before us. Special thanks to the wonderful staff: Vais (who handled my check-in with such warmth), Frank at reception who was incredibly helpful, and the gentleman who served dinner with such attentiveness. Every member of the team contributed to making my stay feel personal and memorable. "
