Super 8 by Wyndham Sturbridge

10/10 Excellent

"I must say I was pleasantly surprised! Compared to the Super 8 in my town and other super 8’s I had major concerns when I had to book this room. (I had booked somewhere else but booked the wrong dates and super 8 was the only place left close by the event I was going to) The only thing that I could possibly say negatively was the bathroom door didn’t latch all the way but stayed shut enough for privacy so it really wasn’t a problem. I actually forgot to let the front desk know. The balcony was really nice to sit on and have my morning coffee or just hang out, there were a bunch of spiders (I’m petrified of them) but that’s an outdoor space so there’s not much that can be done about that. the “breakfast” was a bit disappointing really only choice was waffles, or yogurt . With those things said it was honestly a great place to stay and would definitely stay again. Hoping to book them next year for a week. The room we had was nice, had working mini fridge, the bed was comfortable and I was actually able to sleep. I don’t usually sleep good in hotels/motels. I know I’ve already said this but, this is the nicest/ cleanest and safest super 8 I’ve ever been to. 10/10 would recommend."

"My husband and I had a wonderful stay in the Chamberlin House. The staff was extremely helpful and kind. Our room was clean and very tastefully decorated, in an "updated" classic colonial style. The grounds were absolutely gorgeous and we thoroughly enjoyed a delicious dinner in the Publick House restaurant. The breakfast pastries in the onsite bakery were outstanding. We would never hesitate to stay at Publick House again."

"We stayed in the motel rooms with our dog. The floor could've used a washing, but the bedding and bathroom were nice. The free breakfast was okay, but nothing to write home about. Swimming pool looked kinda sketchey, so we skipped that (pool looked really old). Very good location and places to walk the dog. One thing we really weren't happy about was there is no place to unpack our suitcases! 4 coat hangers, and no bureau or drawers so we lived out of our suitcases. TV had basic cable and channels were difficult to figure out. We could've done much worse, and we did enjoy our visit. Staff was very nice! Thank you."

"We spent five nights at the Days Inn in Auburn and had a wonderful experience. The staff made us feel right at home, and getting a freshly baked cookie when we arrived was such a thoughtful touch. We also really appreciated having coffee, decaf, and hot water for tea available throughout the day. It was so convenient to grab a cup whenever we wanted. A special shout-out to Neusa, who went above and beyond to make sure the breakfast area was always fully stocked and ready for guests. Her attention to detail and friendly service really made a difference! The bathrooms have also been remodeled, and we especially liked the extra room in the shower. Our stay was comfortable and relaxing, and everyone we encountered was friendly. We’d definitely stay there again when visiting Auburn. Highly recommend!"
