"Curry (now Half Dome) village is an unpretentious base for walking in Yosemite Valley. It is right on the spot for early starts, and the simple cabins (I was in a tent cabin) avoid the need for camping equipment. Facilities on site are well run and just what is needed. The communal dining hall is very good, reasonably priced, and has a nice atmosphere in the evening. The pool has stunning views straight up to Glacier Point, and with the adjacent shower block is very welcome at the end of a hot...

"The check in was fast. Staff at the front desk were friendly and informative. We loved our room! Perfect for the kids. We had the loft for 3 nights and the kids loved having the second floor for “themselves”. We used the indoor pool which was warm and it was refreshing after a days hiking. We did not use their restaurants. The river behind it is beautiful. Parking was easy. Would definitely use next time we go to Yosemite. Oh, and the kitchen was heaven sent and had all the needed utensils . "
"This is the second time I have stayed here and I find it super convenient for hiking in Yosemite since it is located right at the start of many trails. Also Curry Village is very friendly with a very well stocked store and a coffee shop which opens early in the morning which is great when you want to start the day early.
Unheated tents are touch and go at this time of season so make sure you are well dressed at night."
"The location, value, and staff were all wonderful. The tan cabin that we stayed in was spacious and came with great amenities such as a nice kitchen, grill, and a propane fire pit. My critiques are minor things such as the room being a bit dusty and dated, the shower leaking continuously, and one window not having a screen. Overall, the place is a great value for it's proximity to Yosemite National Park. The use of Cedar Lodge's indoor pool and hot tub were also major perks in my opinion. "
"Excellent customer service / communication. Check in and check out process was perfect. The place exceeded our expectation. Would love to stay here again."
"This property is a grande dame of Sierra history. In its day, guests were creme de la creme of Hollywood royalty. You get the atmosphere of what it might have been having Cary Grant walk down the majestic staircase.
A real find at a reasonable price in a charming town."
