"Comfy beds and a quiet and large room. This is not a modern styled hotel, it is Edwardian style, so if you like contemporary styling this is not for you. We stayed one night while travelling to Melbourne and very happy with the quality of the accommodation for the price. Parking was easy and free. The staff member at check in was genuinely friendly and offered a warm greeting. The hotel is close to the highway which was perfect for us but it was not noisy at all. We met friends out for dinner but we did walk past the on-site restaurant and it was cosy and inviting with the fire on. They offer a good breaky deal of coffee and breaky burger for $10 which could be had as dine in or Takeaway. I would happily stay here again as was good value and a comfortable stay."

"Have stayed here before so was confident booking it again for a "girls trip" last weekend. All three of my friends were delighted with their rooms and with the overall vibe and location of the hotel. Its right in the middle of town and very close to numerous great takeaway places ( City Indian is a must! ) and you can walk easily to the zoo, the art gallery, the sports stadium etc. The staff here are so nice without being overly saccharine and I appreciated a personal note from the manager welcoming me back with a small sweet treat as a gift. ( thank you! ) I was in a corner suite located right next to the lifts so was concerned I'd hear the noise from that but did not hear a sound! And even though its winter the pool was warm enough to have a quick couple of swims. Its a great pool. Didn't have room service or the breakfast this trip but its incredibly popular and it seemed like most of the hotel guests were there every morning. We are all looking forward to coming back, its a fantastic unpretentious, smart and very clean hotel with with big comfortable beds and a brilliant location. Thank you to the team for making our stay so comfy and effortless! Xx"

"I stay often as it’s convenient walk to the places I need to go in the cbd and the rooms are spacious and large bathrooms with a bath! The beds are also very comfortable not to soft which I love I always have a great sleep and quiet rooms highly recommend and they have a deal with the Wilson car parking on hindley street which is a very short walk behind the hotel one st back. Great restaurants on site to and walking distances for other choices ☺️"
