"We had a pleasant stay at Rex Hotel Residence and wished we could’ve stayed longer! It’s an old-school hotel where you leave the key at the front desk rather than take it out with you, unless you’re returning after midnight.
The hotel offered a a discount for the restaurant next door, which we made use of, and there’s a Carrefour Express right under the restaurant for your convenience. The room had a little kitchenette with a microwave and hot plate, which was awesome for cooking ourselves a light breakfast and/or making tea.
3 beaches are walking distance from the hotel: Boccadasse, Vernazzola, and Sturla, so the location was perfect for us. "

This was really embodied in this hostel, the host Ivan was so incredibly kind and welcoming and always ready to help with anything we wanted. The place was clean and the kitchen facilities excellent.
