"Excellent stopover on our way to Thredbo. Was greeted at reception with a smile and the breakfast menu to choose from. Entered our room and it was cosy and warm (preheated prior to arrival). Our continental breakfast arrived within minutes ready for tomorrow. Would stay here again. Great place to stay."

"We have stayed at Alpine River Cottages many times over the years, and for a good reason. The location is central to both Bright and Myrtleford, without the business of either town. The cottages overlook the tranquil Ovens River, where in Summer you can swim and enjoy the natural surrounds. This time, we received a surprise, an upgrade to the new cottage—a self-contained tiny house with a view of the Mountain and the beautiful river. Warm and cosy, we had peace and quiet. "The room was big enough for the three of us, great location and only about a 5 minute walk into the town centre which is so handy! I’m aware some of the rooms have been renovated so hopefully the rest get done as the room we were in was outdated and the mattress was a bit hard but otherwise it was great and I’d stay again"
