"The Villa itself was spacious and decent. All the basic amenities and the green space out front was nice. However, there was a lack of hooks for towels in the bathroom, which is odd given the fact many people come to Okinawa for the beach. The location was in a nice residential neighbourhood, but felt like no man’s land in terms of eateries etc. If you’re vegetarian, like me, good luck. The area is dominated by resorts and caters to meat eaters. The pool area is a bit tired and it’s about a 3...

"Pros: quiet area, big living room & dining room, big parking lot. Water pressure was good, and I especially appreciated a big entre.
Cons: we could have wished more towels, kitchen towels, and bigger bedrooms.
The area is quiet and a walking distance to a pretty beach, however, it would take a bit of drive to find place to eat. "

"The location was ok and close to Junglia amusement park, although there are two western old men walking and blocking a roadway, behaving like unwelcoming tourists.
There are many local restaurants, beaches, convenience stores. "

"Very nice place but it’s abit too quiet and have to travel all the way in via a small road. Not doable without a car. The pool is ok during the day time but the lights attract bugs at night"

"One of the few "villa" options on the island of Okinawa. High standards of service even by Japanese standards---with an attentive and quick butler service. Delicious food and villa is great for a quiet vacation."

"This is in Onna so it is about an hour uber drive from Naha airport. The bus only takes passengers twice a day if you want a cheaper transportation option. Hotel is beautiful. Staff is very nice and professional. Very helpful. Most speak some English although they may be a bit shy. Room is very nice and clean with excellent amenities. We had a balcony overlooking the pool area and ocean. Great sunset/sunrises. There are a few restaurants in the hotel. We had complimentary drinks from 10-8 in the tea area. Very nice. The seafood buffet restaurant was just okay. We had burgers at the poolside cafe which was interesting - more like meatloaf than typical burger, but tasted decent. There are a lot of restaurants nearby if you want to eat out. They have washers and dryers on the 1st floor with coin machines that will give you change for your bills. It also has detergent for sale if you need. We had to do laundry mid-trip so this was very much appreciated. Only downside to the hotel is the elevators smelled a bit misty. Likely due to people coming in from the pool/ocean with their wet sandles and towels dripping on the carpet. Would recommend, nevertheless. I have to shout out to our concierge who spent a long time helping us figure out Yamato luggage service. She helped us forward our luggage to the last hotel we would be staying in on our Japan trip. It was quite an ordeal and she was wonderful! Would stay here again when visiting Hiroshima. "
"The hotel was great. The staff were helpful and provided good details. It was great to use the online wait list for the breakfast buffet instead of having to go down and wait. The room was clean and very roomy and we had an amazing view of the beach. I would recommend a car rental since it is about an hour away from the airport and there is no shuttle. I would definitely stay here again"
"We had a very enjoyable stay at the Grand Mercure , the facilities was excellent and the restaurant for breakfast was excellent with great choices for buffet breakfast. The laundry facilities was a bonus as traveling it was easy access .the pool and outside entertainment areas were great . Thank you we will recommend you to others wishing to go to Okinawa. "
"We spent the final part of our honeymoon at Halekulani Okinawa, and it was the absolute highlight of our trip. From the moment we arrived, we were treated like true VIPs. To our delight, the hotel surprised us with a room upgrade for our honeymoon, the staff even organized late checkout which was much appreciated. The level of hospitality here is world-class—every detail was handled with so much care and grace. It made our special trip feel truly magical. We cannot wait to return!"
"The whole property, amenities, staffing was all fantastic. I specially loved the slippers that were complimentary and all water facilities were fantastic! Loved it and amazing experience for all my family. The rooms were gorgeous"
