"No elevator. The reception is on 2nd floor. The ground floor is with strong cigarette smell. My reservation was for a non-smoking room. However, there was cigarette smell (via A/C?).
And, I saw a man (a guest?) smoking in front of the reception desk.
The staff was friendly and willing to help. They carried my bag up to my room (on 3rd floor) and down to the ground floor.

That is a historical city in Fukuoka area. It is a lovely place. I would recommend selecting the good timing for sakura or autumn leaves sightseeing.

Check-in and check-out are straightforward. Bonus - ReFa brand hairdryer provided in room was awesome with powerful yet quiet airflow.
