"Stay away. House was disgusting, it looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in weeks upon arrival. We noticed ants, dead and alive, all over the house. In the shower, around the beds and all over the staircase. And to top things off we saw a live lizard in the kitchen. The WiFi also had terrible connection and would drop every 5 minutes. We arrived at 10pm so had to stay the night, could barely sleep because we felt so grossed out. We were so disappointed because the pictures make this place look great, but it is very deceiving. We left right away after the first night even though we were booked for 4 nights. Found a nice resort that was very clean, instead. However, there were way too many bugs, cockroaches and geckos inside and outside of the property… The hotel basically said it is inevitable due to the climate condition of the island. For me, bugs were tie breaker so I probably won’t stay here again 😂"
"Far off the beaten path is this very peaceful hotel, Agato-san has made something truly unique here. The owner and staff are very attentative when needed but very respectfully absent to enjoy your own space and time.
The room itself is wonderful, a true amount of care has gone into the design and function has been blended with form seemlessly.
