It is a little far from town (you have to take a taxi or bus which are difficult to determine schedules for), but it is very near the Haweomsa Temple, the start of our hike. The lady at the front desk was very helpful."

"This was the weirdest hotel we've ever stayed at. We never saw another human the whole time we were there. There was no-one at the front desk. There was a kiosk to get the key. There was a loaf of bread and an empty jelly jar. Also some ham that was just out. I think this was for breakfast?
On the plus side it had a great view of the river. And there was a nice patio on the roof with a kitchenette."
