It was located near de Westown Napa & it was within easy walking distance for shops and restaurants. The service and Quality of breakfasts and snacks was exceptional.

The room was very cozy and I loved having the tub in the room with the tv. I loved the the downstairs area and backyard with seating for breakfast and the fire pit. Parking was very easy to settle and downtown was a very close walk.

Complimentary hot breakfast cooked to order. Lovely gardens surround the party. My guestroom had an enclosed oatio with outdoor tables and chairs.and large Jacuzzi bath tub.

This is truly a gem of a stay in Napa. Quaint and unassuming, but will always exceed all expectations. From cozy and scenic baths, to a comfortable and clean sleep; paired with a communicative and attentive staff and clean lodgings, what’s not to love!? If you can’t attend an on-site breakfast, they’ll prep you a continental breakfast with some of the freshest fruit available. They make sure to outline everything you might need and then some with their stellar communication. 2nd time staying and I’ll continue to frequent this spot!

A delightful gem B&B in the heart of downtown Napa

The Inn on 1rst is a hidden gem right in the heart of downtown Napa. The staff was lovely, the house and rooms are immaculate and very inviting. But the true winner is the breakfast! So delicious and creative, I’d go there just to eat 😋 Enjoyed everything about my stay and would definitely stay there again

I loved the privacy and the small atmosphere. The breakfast was great and the staff was very accommodating. The only thing that was a problem was some ants came in thru the front window.

The property is immaculate. The breakfasts are delicious, homemade, and gourmet quality. The rooms are cozy, comfortable and quiet. I almost didn’t do a review so I could keep the hidden gem a secret;) Book the “Inn on First” it will make your weekend!

The inn was charming and the service impeccable. Breakfast was different each day and totally delicious. Our room had a gas fireplace and a hot tub and cozy bath robes. It was an easy one mile walk into Napa for numerous shops and restaurants. Close proximity to hundreds of wineries. I would highly recommend The Inn and would happily stay there again.

A great place to spend a few days in Napa! A wonderful property, ideally located for Downtown & its amenities & close to the main attractions. Easy access to Silverado Trail & tge surrounding towns and area. Hospitality couldn’t be faulted - straightforward checkin process & the care and attention from Cindy & Molly as our innkeepers was first class. Great breakfast on offer - the hot entrees are well worth trying! Our room was very comfortable & tge fire in the room was perfect for the cold January nights and mornings! Couldn’t fault anything at the Inn & will definitely be coming back & would fully recommend. A gem

This was the first time my husband and I stayed at a bed and breakfast and this was the perfect place! I would definitely stay here again. We had the room with the balcony. It's a very large room with his-and-hers vanity design bathroom, and lots of natural light. The breakfast in the morning is very good and fresh baked cookies made daily that were delicious! The staff was very friendly and the property was very clean. We felt very safe and didn't have any issues with parking. It was pretty quiet when we stayed and didn't have any noise disturbance. It's about a 20 min walk to downtown Napa. I would stay here again!

Mehhh. A lesser experience than anticipated. The welcome champagne is a tiny bottle for two than is ridiculous, seems cheap and when I removed the champagne style top, it hid a screw off that seems emblematic of the place. Staff made efforts and very nice hosts

We chose The Inn on First by chance. We only needed to spend one night and were leaving by 6:00 a.m. The hostess phoned me to tell us breakfast was at 8:00 but I mentioned we'd be gone by then. She said our breakfast would be in a bag in the refrigerator for us to take. Breakfast was fresh fruit in yogurt with an awesome granola. We left knowing we'd make it a point to come back for a full weekend stay soon. The grounds were very inviting and relaxing, the Inn itself was very comfortable and the sparkling wine and breakfast were great. We highly recommend The Inn on First!

Very nice!

It's a keyless entry place, so a bit lacking in terms of ambience upfront. But the service in the morning was outstanding! Room was large and nice, about what I expected. But could never get the AC thermostat to work, and being a remote entry/keyless place, I couldn't reach anyone in reception to ask about it. The bathtub and shower were fantastic, but only 2 towels? Minor quibbles, though. I'll be back.

I booked through Expedia with a non-refundable fee that stated “includes all fees.” Immediately afterwards, I got an email from The Inn On First through the Expedia portal indicating I still owed a $211.61 deposit. The fireplace is the only source of heat. I tried to turn it on and it was not working. I called the office and the inn keeper walked me through the instructions to turn it on. It still did not work. She said her husband would come in 15 minutes to fix it. He arrived about 40 minutes later and was in the room for about 30 minutes trying to fix it. This was awkward as I was getting ready for dinner the whole time he was in my room. But the overnight forecast was for a temp of 39 so I wanted it fixed. He was unable to fix it. It was cold overnight. Not miserable but it would’ve been nice to have some heat. The hot tub jets are not functional; there is no motor. The walls were thin; I could hear cats and other conversations around the property. In the morning as I was leaving, a cat ran into the room and under the bed. I was already late but had to spend extra time shooing a CAT out of the room. Good location but do not recommend.
